The Boy Who Cried Wolf
The Boy Who Cried Wolf (Interactive Version)
Once upon a time, in a small village surrounded by hills and forests, there lived a shepherd boy. His job was to watch over the village sheep as they grazed on the hillside. Every day, he would lead the sheep to the pasture and sit idly under a tree while they ate.

One day, the boy felt bored and thought of a mischievous idea. He decided to cry out that a wolf was attacking the sheep just to see what the villagers would do.
So, he shouted, “Wolf! Wolf! A wolf is attacking the sheep!”
The villagers heard his cries and rushed up the hill with sticks and tools. But when they arrived, they saw no wolf—just the boy laughing at them.

(Answer at the end of the story!)
A few days later, a real wolf appeared from the forest and began attacking the sheep. Frightened, the boy shouted, “Wolf! Wolf! Please help me!”
But the villagers, remembering his lies, thought he was tricking them again. No one came to help. The wolf attacked the flock, and the boy lost many sheep.

When the villagers finally came to check, they saw the boy crying. “Why didn’t you come when I called for help?” he asked.
The villagers replied, “We didn’t come because you’ve lied so many times. How could we trust you?”
The boy learned a hard lesson that day. “I must always tell the truth,” he said to himself. “No one believes a liar, even when they’re telling the truth.”
Moral of the Story:
