The Honest Farmer and the Golden Seeds
Honest Farmer story
Once upon a time, in a small village, there lived a poor but hardworking farmer named Ravi. Every day, he worked tirelessly in his small field to grow crops and feed his family. One sunny morning, while digging the soil, Ravi found a small, shiny bag hidden in the ground.
Curious, he opened it and discovered golden seeds. “These seeds look magical,” he thought. “If I plant them, I might grow golden crops!”
But instead of planting the seeds right away, Ravi decided to take them to the village chief. “These seeds must belong to someone else,” he said to himself.
Ravi handed the golden seeds to the chief and explained where he found them. The chief was astonished by Ravi’s honesty. “Ravi,” the chief said, “these seeds were hidden by a wealthy man long ago, but no one came forward to claim them. Because of your honesty, I declare that these seeds now belong to you!”
Overjoyed, Ravi returned home and planted the seeds in his field. To his amazement, golden wheat sprouted within days. From that day, Ravi’s life changed, but he remained humble and generous, sharing his fortune with those in need.
